February 2013 Lime Tart ...

This month I had the Half Tart and the colours were right up my alley :-)

The sheet of We R Memory Keepers washi in this kit is great ... it can be cut with a trimmer or a punch :-)

Will loves kayaking ...

This little boy, my nephew, turned 4 yesterday. 

He and his older brother visited us in January. 

He totally loved the kayaks.

February Lime Tart ...

I received the Half Tart this month and here is my first layout, featured yesterday on the Lime Tart blog.

Rohan ...

We have a son who has never been very keen at all to do any sort of swimming lessons. We got to the point where we left it, he has a very determined personality so we knew there was no point in pushing the issue.

On Sunday John decided that he need a bit of encouragement as there was school swimming this week so he took him to the pool and he actually did a few things that he had never done before.

And then ...

this week so far he has had 4 of the 5 days of swimming lessons ... I think John brought home a different boy on Sunday ;-)

He has been hilarious every day he gets home from school, giving us a full run down of every second of the lesson (well that is what it feels like!! LOL)

Do you have those "child revelation" moments? You know where they finally get something?

It is an amazing thing as a parent to see ... it might be when they finally get eating (that is the next thing he needs to get sorted still!!), reading, writing ... just doing a particular thing and you wonder why has it taken them so long but then think hey how wonderful it is to see that moment :-)

Still in Coffin Bay ...

So we went out to lunch ... some chose to walk and it was hot, some chose to drive and didn't drive home, some rode a bike and drove a car home ... 4 adults and 6 children went to lunch at The Oysterbeds :-)

WT ... loved the kayak and spent nearly all of the time playing on it or with it ...

A great day at the beach and the older boys / men caught enough fish for tea :-)

Yesterday's fun ...

 was polished off by our 11 year old son for lunch yesterday!!

Lachlan had some fun on the newly named "pretzel" (well it looks more like a pretzel that a donut or a biscuit!!)

The Rohan and Lachlan had a go ...

Laughing a lot at the hairstyle change for Rohan ... came out all spikey!!
