Recipe Box Class ...

I am really happy with the edging shown here!! We have one beautifully paved pergola!!

Tomorrow or Friday we will put the table and chairs back and I'll take another photo!!

Today ...

Today's progress ... two pavers short ... can you believe that!! John had calculated to have a few left over but there are a few that are good to be cut and used around the edges but not quite enough for the main paved area!!!

Anyway the guys will be back tomorrow to do the fiddly edge bits ... they are doing a great job and I can't wait until our table is in place and we can have a fine day for a BBQ!!

And yes it is quite a big area!!

Tomorrow ...

this area will move on to its final stage of the transformation ... with the paving guys coming!!

Yay!!

But tonight we have lots of very fine crushed metal through the house after John spread it this afternoon!! The kids all insisted on walking over it!

This morning I helped (for a little while) to remove the old pavers from the back half of the area.

I can already get a much better feel for the area now that the base filler is in ... so exciting!!

I will keep the progress posted!!
